The seaside town of Corolla is considered by many to be the crown jewel of the Outer Banks. Known for its seclusion and abundance of upscale and eclectic shops as well as excellent dining options, Corolla is the ideal vacation destination for families. Home to the Currituck Club, Corolla offers the only golf course on the Currituck Outer Banks. The beaches of Corolla are wide and unpopulated with plenty of room to spread out. The Currituck Sound provides excellent kayaking opportunities. Corolla is certainly a wedding destination.

Most vacationers book a vacation rental home, which is rented in 1-week increments, and can vary from 2-18 bedrooms. Some rental homes do offer flexible stays of less than one week with non-weekend check in days. Most homes offer a variety of amenities such as private heated pools, hot tubs, game rooms, plush theater rooms, internet access, and dedicated beach access. There are a number of rental companies specializing in Corolla that can easily be found online. There are also a few hotels options, one on the ocean, one soundside and another tucked in the Village of Corolla.
